Meet Your Host
I worked in the dental field in New York City on the U.S. East Coast for 16 years, from my twenties through my thirties.
I love traveling and discovering delicious food.
I live in the same building as the guesthouse.
In addition to managing this guesthouse, I also operate a Montessori school.

Location
Our guesthouse is conveniently located about a 20-minute walk from Sendai Station along Aoba-dori Avenue, and about a 1-minute walk from Omachi Nishi-koen Station on the Sendai Subway Tozai Line, making it an excellent base for both sightseeing and business.
Directly in front of the property is Nishi Park, one of Sendai's iconic landmarks, while the scenic Hirose River is just a short walk away. It is an ideal location for a morning jog or a relaxing stroll.
Within walking distance, you'll also find Tohoku University, with its expansive campus, the Sendai International Center, a popular venue for conferences and events, and Sendai Mediatheque, renowned for its distinctive architecture.
This area lies at the foot of Aoba Castle, where Date Masamune began construction of the castle. It is also a historic district once known as Gofudai-machi.
Today, Omachi retains the charm of a traditional castle town, with peaceful streets lined with welcoming cafés and restaurants. Here, you can fully experience the unique harmony of nature and urban life that defines Sendai.
